Glass/ Door assembly guidance

It is used for glass assembly on front/rear trunk and sunroof in the vehicle body and assembly process. CMES Multiline Laser 3D Vision Sensor is used for accurately measuring the position of assembly object (glass/door) and position relationship with the vehicle body to be attached in real time. It is an application that allows robots to assemble accurately by using 3D Vision Sensor, converting the coordinates of the optimal assembly position into the six-axis robot coordinate system and delivering it to the robot.

Under body sealing (UBS) guidance

It is used in the Under Body Sealing (UBS) process prior to the painting stage in order to prevent corrosion on the bottom part of the vehicle body. CMES UBS (Under Body Sealing) 3D Vision System uses a high-resolution 3D scanner to shoot the wide area of the bottom part of the vehicle body to generate the optimal robot path. Since robot and vision settings are available, time and labor cost can be reduced by one-third.

CMES 3D Random Bin Picking System is equipped with an AI Deep Learning function to implement the algorithm to quickly recognize the target object and prevent the collision of robots. It is an application that delivers accurate gripping points to the robot to pick automobile components loaded randomly in order to generate the optimal robot path to carry out, pick & place components without error.

Screw bolt position alignment

It is used in the screw assembly process, which is carried out by robots in engine assembly and the final assembly factory. 3D Vision System inspects screw tightening position on the target object every time to deliver the accurate tightening position to the robot in order to achieve a complete level of robot automation.

It is used in vehicle panel or part loading and purging process. Robot automation can be achieved by applying CMES 3D Vision System to the process where automation is difficult due to different shape and position change of the pallet. It is an application for 3D Vision System to recognize pallet and product loading position and carry out automatic purging and sequential palletizing.
